Ian C Skipworth MACAud
Ian is the
Principal Clinician and Director of MHC. After graduating in 1973 at Sydney
Technical College as an Audiometrist, and with over 40 years experience in the hearing
health care profession, Ian brings a wealth of knowledge covering all aspects
of Audiometry and Audiology. Functioning both as a clinician and in senior
management role during that time, he does understand the significance of our
practice mission statement “to provide the best possible hearing health care service”
to clients of MHC. Ian is a qualified member of the Australian College of Audiology,
a 35 year member of the International Hearing Society (USA) and a registered member
of the Hearing Aid Audiometrists Society of Australia.
Caroline Ling B.Sc., M.Clin.Aud.,
M.Aud.S.A (CCP)
Caroline’s
roles at MHC include Clinical Audiology, Marketing and Clinic Coordination. Following
completion of a Masters of Clinical Audiology at The University of Melbourne in 1999,
Caroline has worked in Private Audiological Practices in Melbourne, specializing in
Diagnostics, Adult Hearing Aid Fitting and Rehabilitation. Caroline also worked for an
International hearing aid company in Audiological Support, covering 3 States
within Australia. She is very proud to be working at a Hearing Clinic that offers
not only the highest standards in Audiological care, but a friendly and welcoming
working environment. Caroline is a full member of the Audiological Society of
Australia and holds a current Certificate of Clinical Practice.
Fay Braganza B.Sc., M.Aud., M.Aud.S.A (CCP)
Fay joins the clinical team of Audiologists at MHC with a Bachelors of Biomedical Science majoring in Neuroscience and a Master’s in Audiology from the University of Auckland. Fay has gathered extensive experience in diagnostic audiology, including: Pure Tone and Speech Audiometry, Impedance Audiometry, Electrophysiological testing, including Auditory Brainstem Responses (ABR) and Cortical Evoked Responses (CERA), as well as testing for Central Auditory Processing Disorders. Fay is currently studying for her Doctoral degree in Audiology from the University of Florida, USA and hopes to graduate by 2011. Fay is a full member of the Audiological Society of Australia and New Zealand and holds a current Certificate of Clinical Practice.
Lyn Costello B.Econ.
Lyn looks after
the financial side of the clinic’s operations. She loves the administrative role
and has extensive experience in the public and private sector. As a contrast to
her administrative background, she enjoyed several years as an aged care worker
and even chose to challenge 5 years as a dairy farmer! Lyn has worked at MHC
since 2004 and enjoys the variety of work and the friendly staff and clients.
Vera Milosevski Vera comes to MHC with over 18 years of Administrative and Customer Service experience. Being in the Receptionist role means that Vera is the first point of contact for clients. She recognizes the importance of high level customer service by managing all client appointments, maintaining patient files and ensuring high standards of accuracy. Vera is always happy to assist you with all your hearing aid queries and concerns.
Christine Raff Christine brings her many years of experience as a Personal Assistant and other office roles to MHC. Ensuring our client’s needs and requests are met is of the utmost importance in her role as Receptionist. Christine’s duties include a variety of administrative work and client interaction and she enjoys being part of the friendly team and making a difference.
